This tool runs entirely in your browser. There is no upload endpoint on this page — the PDF library does all of the work locally on your device, the result file is generated in memory, and the download starts from your own machine. Open your browser's network panel and verify: nothing is sent.

FAQ

SVG to PNG questions, answered

What does the scale slider do?

SVG is a vector format — it doesn't have a native pixel size. The slider multiplies the SVG's intrinsic width/height (or viewBox) by your chosen factor to produce the PNG. 2× gives a sharp result on Retina screens; 4× is print-quality.

My SVG has external fonts or images — will they render?

Only assets embedded directly in the SVG (inline `<image>` data-URIs, inline `<style>`) will render reliably in-browser. External font files referenced via @font-face usually fail because the browser blocks cross-origin font fetches inside the rasterisation pipeline. Inline your fonts before converting if they matter.

How big can my SVG be?

No hard cap on the SVG itself — but very large output PNGs (above 16 megapixels) can fail to encode because of browser canvas size limits. Stick to a max-side of ~8000 px and the export works on every modern device.

Does this run in my browser?

Yes. The SVG is rendered via the browser's native SVG-to-canvas pipeline, then the canvas is exported as PNG. No server involved.

Can I convert PNG back to SVG?

Not with this tool — and honestly, no tool does it well. Vectorising raster artwork requires either expert tracing (manual) or a paid service that runs ML. We don't pretend to do it.
