Yes. The top section is the actual People Also Ask box Google shows for your keyword in the country you choose, with the answer snippet and the page it comes from. Below it you get question-shaped searches from Google autocomplete, which Google does not show in the PAA box but which people do type.

Two places. The People Also Ask box comes from a live Google search run through Serper.dev. The autocomplete questions come from Google Suggest, the same data that fills the search box as you type. Both pass through our server only to reach Google; we do not store your keywords.

Each People Also Ask lookup is one Google search through Serper, and our free tier is shared across all visitors, so each visitor gets 20 a day (shared with the SERP Checker and Keyword Difficulty tools). Results are cached for 24 hours, so repeating a keyword is free. The autocomplete questions have no limit.

AlsoAsked uses real People Also Ask data; AnswerThePublic is built on autocomplete. This tool gives you both layers free, with a UK default. The paid tools go further on volume estimates and multi-level PAA trees. If you need those, they are worth paying for.

Yes. Download CSV saves every question with its category, source, depth, whether it is in the PAA box, the answer snippet, the source URL and any variant phrasings, ready for Excel or Sheets. Copy all puts the same list on your clipboard as tab-separated text. Star the questions you want and the shortlist tray gives you a plain list, a CSV, or a Markdown content brief with each question as a heading and Google's answer quoted under it.

People type that question into Google (it comes from autocomplete) but Google does not yet show an answer for it in the People Also Ask box. A page that answers it clearly has a good chance of being picked up. "Google answers this" means the question is already in the box, and the badge names the site Google currently takes the answer from.

Explore runs the question itself as a Google search and shows the People Also Ask questions Google lists under it, one level deeper. Each Explore is one of your 20 daily Google checks; results are cached for the session, so re-opening the same question is free.

Depth 1 runs about 26 autocomplete queries (question words, common phrases and a comparison seed). Depth 2 runs each level-1 question again as its own seed, which can mean 100 or more extra queries, batched six at a time. Expect 10 to 20 seconds.

Use the People Also Ask questions as H2s or FAQ entries on the page you want to rank, and answer each in two or three sentences.
